Teacher innovations repository was launched by Telangana
Telangana State has launched a platform called Teacher Innovations Repository (TIR), which is the first initiative. This would be a dedicated gateway for instructors to scout, recognize, and share their ideas.
The key players in TIR are the Commissioner and Director of School Education, the Telangana State Innovation Cell, as well as the technology company incubator GIAN.
The portal will promote innovations in and around schools, as well as recognize and honor outstanding teachers and school administrators from across the state. It will encourage instructors to engage in distributed peer learning and information dissemination. The platform aims to encourage experiential learning through teacher-created innovations across the state. It will also create a collaborative environment in which teachers can mentor one another using a variety of creative teaching & non-teaching techniques.
At ts-tir.telangana.gov.in, instructors can register and submit their innovative teaching and non-teaching approaches. On Monday, Industries and Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao launched the portal.
Sabitha Indra Reddy, IT Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary (Education) Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Commissioner and Director of School Education A Devasena, and Telangana Chief Innovation Officer Dr. Shanta Thoutam were all present.
“The site will broaden the ecosystem by allowing teachers from around the state to share best practices in new teaching and non-teaching approaches.” “If teachers are empowered, it will have a direct impact on children’s mental processes,” Rama Rao stated.
“To stimulate innovation in the State, we believed in an ecosystem-as-a-whole strategy since it provides sustainability and ownership.” “The Teacher Innovations Portal looks at the entire school environment, including teachers, academics, and researchers,” stated Jayesh Ranjan.
“As TSIC works to develop one innovator from every family, we’ve learned that the definition of innovator and invention differs depending on the population,” stated Dr. Shanta Thoutam, Chief Innovation Officer.
