Tim Cook Reveals: Apple One Launched in India, Other Markets
Apple One, the bundle of Apple Inc’s paid online services launched on October 30. The Apple One Bundle combines Apple’s news, music, video and cloud storage offerings, putting it in fiercer competition with music rivals such as Spotify Technology SA and television content rivals Netflix Inc, Walt Disney Co and AT&T Inc’s HBO. Apple in September also announced a paid fitness service called Apple Fitness+ that competes for the first time with some elements of Peloton Interactive Inc’s offerings.
If you upgrade to Apple One Family, you get 200GB iCloud storage, and all the benefits can be shared with up to six family members, as a part of family sharing. There is a third tier available in Australia, Canada, the UK and the US- Apple One Premier also includes Apple News+ and the Apple Fitness and ups the iCloud storage to 2TB.
The all-you-can-eat Apple bundle has excited investors and analysts, who see the offering drumming up more revenue for Apple’s services segment, which reported record sales in the fiscal fourth quarter.
Individually, subscriptions to all these services add up to a lot more. Apple Music costs Rs. 49 / $5 per month for students, Rs. 99 / $10 per month for individuals, and Rs. 149 / $15 per month for families (with six members). Both Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade come in Rs. 99 / $5 per month (Family Sharing included). iCloud costs Rs. 75 / $1 per month (50GB), Rs. 219 / $3 per month (200GB), or Rs. 749 / $10 per month (2TB). And both Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+ will run you $10 per month (Family Sharing included).
With Apple One Individual, you are looking at a savings of Rs. 177 / $6+ every month, Rs. 201 / $8+ with Apple One Family, and $25+ with Apple One Premier. Of course, that’s only if you sign up for every service included in the subscription bundle.

To sign up for Apple One, go to the App Store, then tap on your profile picture. Next, tap on Subscriptions. You’ll next tap on Try it now, under ‘Get Apple One’. That’s all — you’re in the free trial for one month, and then after that you’ll have to pay to keep using Apple One.
