TVS is looking at to grow the Apache setup with new subordinates of the sporty commuter motorcycle. So the TVS Motor Company has reserved another new name which will be presented underway trademark as the new TVS Apache RTR 165 RP, with RP representing Race Performance. Recently, TVS presented the TVS Apache RR 310 Built to Order with performance packs, and the Race Performance variation is relied upon to be another presentation based sub-brand of the Apache series motorcycle from TVS. Comparing the 165 moniker, the new RP variation might get a minor bump in engine displacement, and furthermore get more execution than the standard TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
The existing Apache RTR 160 4V is the most powerful bike in its segment. It is capable of pushing out 17.4 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 14.73 Nm of peak torque at 7,250 rpm from its 160 cc, single-cylinder, and four-valve engine. With a displacement bump, and new features on the RP variant, the new bike is expected to be even more performance-oriented. There could be changes in the ergonomics, much like the Race Kit. This kit could include clip-on handlebars in place of the standard single-piece handlebar, more rear-set foot pegs and race graphics. Apart from that, it could even get the adjustable kit from the RTR 200 4V, making it much more customizable than it is now.
